In One day Komodo Island Tour on Komodo Island, you can choose between different trekking routes, depending on your time and physical condition. All of them start from the ticket office at Loh Liang. A short trek takes around one hour and goes along flat trails within the dry forest. KOMODO ISLAND SHORE TOURS
On arrival at Komodo Island port, you will be welcomed by our representative team and tour guide who will accompany you to enter the Komodo National Park. After a small briefing, our tour guide will lead you walking on trails to water hole where the dragons lay down waiting for their prey. When you are walking off towards the interior of the island, tour guide will point out and explain some various flora and fauna as you pass and also you will heard screech of several birds in the tall trees such as Green Imperial Pigeons and Yellow Crested Cockatoos and many more. Some wild animals such as Wild Beast, Timoor Deer and Wild Chickens can be also found a long the trails. In a few minutes, you will see the endangered species Komodo Dragons closely laying down arround the water hole. The dragons roam freely across the island and are not fed by the locals to make them quiescent for the tourists, because any dragon could turn up anywhere.
After leaving water hole, guests will continue to do shore excursion to Pink Beach riding our boat trip for snorkeling and swimming. It takes around 40 minutes boating from Komodo Island port to the beach. Pink Beach is one of the best snorkeling spots in the park. The shallow reef begins just in front of the beach. Being deep enough to snorkel at low tide and not too deep at high tide. Lunch will be served on the boat before coming back to your cruise ship.

Komodo Island Tour 2D1N is a tour package that gives you guarantee see the Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis) that is the world’s largest and also one of the oldest living lizards. This reptile can only be found in the wild in Komodo National Park (more precisely on the islands of Komodo, Rinca Island, Nusa Kode, and Gili Motang) and to a minor extent on Flores’ west and north coasts. Adult dragons can reach a length of up to three meters, with an average weight of around 90 kg. Living mainly on carrion, the dragons also hunt deer and wild pigs, using their strong tail to bring the prey to the ground.

Treks on Rinca Island start from the ticket office at Loh Buaya. You also have the option to choose between three trails. The shortest trek takes 30 minutes. It is an easy, shaded walk that passes an artificial waterhole before ascending to a small hill with a view over the bay. The one-hour medium trek winds between dragon nests and out into the sunshine across an exposed savannah that is studded with lontar palms. For the best opportunity to see dragons and their prey, choose the two-hour trek past a permanent waterhole and across steep, exposed slopes that offer breathtaking views.
